After School Rehearsals 2021

To prepare for our Spring Concert on Mon, May 24 (rain date May 26) we are holding a series of after school OUTDOOR rehearsals.

BAND Rehearsals are 6:00-7:30pm on the following days:

Thu, May 6

Tue, May 11

Thu, May 13

Tue, May 18 (Also Band Awards Night)

Thu, May 20 (Band Awards Night rain date)

Chorus & Orchestra - please check your email for rehearsal schedules sent out by your director.

To participate in these rehearsals and concert, all students (with parent help) must complete the steps below:

1) First, parents must register the student on Family ID here: https://www.familyid.com/garnet-valley-school-district-athletics/high-school-clubs-2020-2021

2) Next, Parents must log on to https://register.pennrapidtest.org and enter student Name, Date of Birth, Sex, Race, and Ethnicity, but please enter PARENT EMAIL and PARENT CELL PHONE. Do not enter student contact info. Test results will be sent to parents only.

3) The parent will receive an email from Penn Rapid Test with your child's QR Code. FORWARD this email and a Parent Cell Phone # to Dr. Selfridge selfris@garnetvalley.org.

5) SIGN UP FOR A TIME TO COME GET YOUR TEST AT GVHS (Nurse's Office): https://www.signupgenius.com/go/60b0a4fa9a82dabff2-bandorchchor Students should report for their test to the outside door near the nurse's office (loading dock).

6) Get a 3-ring binder for your band music. We will distribute sheet music and sheet protectors at rehearsal

7) Arrive 10 minutes early to practice to check in and have your temperature checked. Remember, if you are having any symptoms at all, stay safe and stay home.
