The Garnet Valley High School Band is pleased to present a Spring Concert on Thursday, May 31 at 7:00pm in the GVHS Auditorium. The concert, titled "Circumnavigation: A Musical World Tour" features music and melodies from across the globe. Highlights include the powerful brass and rhythm of "Arabian Dances" by Brian Balmages, Percy Grainger's stunning setting of "Irish Tune from County Derry", and the inspirational sounds of the classic Carmen Dragon arrangement "America the Beautiful". Clap along to our rousing rendition of the Spanish march "Amparito Roca", and enjoy the sounds of Broadway in our "Suite from Hamilton". The concert will also feature our Brass Quintet and Saxophone Quartet. All are invited to join us for this free concert and enjoy talents of our high school musicians!
